TD SYNNEX Share the Magic Achieves Record-Breaking Year Raising More Than $2 Million for Upstate Children’s Charities

Beneficiaries of TD SYNNEX Share the Magic are: A Child’s Haven, Clement’s Kindness, Make-A-Wish South Carolina and Pendleton Place. Since its inception in 2011, TD SYNNEX Share the Magic has raised more than $16 million for these beneficiaries.

“We are very proud to surpass our fundraising goal this year with a record-breaking $2.18 million raised for Upstate children’s charities – an achievement that would not be possible without the dedicated efforts of our associates, local organizations and individuals, and business partners,” said Larocque. “Because of you, we continue to have a lasting impact on children and families in need.”

With the help of TD SYNNEX Share the Magic:

  • A Child’s Haven has received funding to move to a 25,000 square foot facility, allowing them to expand their services to a wider age group.

A Child’s Haven provides therapeutic intervention and prevention services for developmentally delayed, abused and neglected children ages 12 weeks to 5 years in Greenville County. The organization is dedicated to transforming the lives of these young children and providing support and education for their families. They provide hope to families in challenging situations and give them the tools they need to look beyond their current circumstances to a brighter future.

  • Clement’s Kindness has been able to provide more than $900,000 in financial assistance to Upstate families impacted by pediatric cancer and other blood disorders.

Clement’s Kindness Fund for the Children helps address the medical, psychological, social, emotional, and financial needs of Upstate families impacted by pediatric cancer and serious blood disorders. The fund also provides financial support to the BI-LO Charities Children’s Cancer Center and the Bon Secours St. Francis Cancer Center AYA Program, which directly impacts the patients and their families.

  • Make-A-Wish South Carolina has granted more than 1,800 wishes since 2010 with the support of TD SYNNEX Share the Magic.

As one of 62 Make-A-Wish chapters across the U.S., the South Carolina chapter has been granting wishes for local kids with life-threatening medical conditions since 1984.

  • Pendleton Place has opened Greenville’s first Youth Resource Center as well as an Emergency Youth Shelter for runaway, homeless and at-risk youth.

Pendleton Place offers programs that protect, equip, and heal vulnerable children, young adults and families. Pendleton Place strengthens children while rebuilding families. It is their goal for each child to have a stable home environment and a bright future.
