Greenville, South Carolina – June 25, 2025 – The Commons is pleased to announce Live & Local on the Porch, a new weekly music series launching Thursday, July 10. Taking place every Thursday in July from 6–8 PM, the free concerts will feature a rotating lineup of Greenville-area musicians performing along the Swamp Rabbit Trail side of the property at 157 Welborn Street.
Following the recent grand opening of Phase II, which introduced seven new food and beverage concepts, Live & Local on the Porch continues The Commons’ commitment to community programming and support for local talent.
The series features a diverse mix of musical styles, including jazz, country, rock, and more, creating a lively atmosphere at The Commons each week. Guests can enjoy the performances from the patio while dining or having a drink from one of the 11 on-site vendors, including Automatic Taco, Delicious by GB&D, Indigo Kitchen, Kuka Juice, La Rue Fine Chocolates, Leo’s Pizza, Methodical Coffee, Moohogz BBQ, Paseo, The Community Tap, and GB&D.
The July musical lineup includes:
- July 10 – Raybandz Saxz
- July 17 – Second Hand News
- July 24 – Taylor Corum & Rhys Hester
- July 31 – Doug Jones
“Our goal with The Commons has always been to create a space that supports local talent and brings people together,” said Barnes Connell, managing director at Aston. “This music series is a natural extension of that—giving local artists a platform while continuing to build on the sense of community that makes The Commons so meaningful.”
Situated beside Unity Park, The Commons has grown into a central gathering place for downtown Greenville. The addition of this weekly music series reinforces its role as a venue for connection, creativity, and local culture.
