More than 3,400 fans will fill the venue for the inaugural match with the theme “Together We Triumph”
Greenville, SC – May 31, 2026 – Greenville Triumph SC has sold out its home opener at GE Vernova Park, with more than 4,000 fans expected to fill the new stadium at BridgeWay Station June 3 for a USL League One match against Forward Madison FC. The game will mark the first professional soccer match at the purpose-built venue in Mauldin.
GE Vernova Park is the permanent home of both Greenville Triumph SC and Greenville Liberty SC. The sellout reflects years of growing fan support for the Triumph and professional soccer in the Upstate, and signals a defining chapter for the sport in South Carolina.
“This sellout is a testament to what this community has been building toward,” said Zach Prince, general manager and sporting director, Greenville Pro Soccer. “Greenville is ready for a home like this. June 3 at GE Vernova Park, with thousands of fans coming together — that’s the culmination of everything this club has worked so hard to achieve.”
GE Vernova Park represents a $27.5 million public-private investment — with contributions from Greenville Pro Soccer, the State of South Carolina, and the City of Mauldin, along with donated land and in-kind development support from Hughes Investments, developer of BridgeWay Station.
When complete, the venue will feature intimate sight lines that bring supporters close to the action, one of the largest video boards in the Upstate, and architecture that mirrors BridgeWay Station’s European-inspired design, with grand columns, Italian-inspired towers, and expansive archways serving as the stadium’s grand entrances.
USL League One, the third division of American professional soccer, has been the proving ground for the Triumph, which has established itself as one of the league’s premier clubs — a three-time finalist and 2020 league champion. The sellout signals strong early momentum for the club’s inaugural season at its permanent home and reflects years of growing fan support for professional soccer in the Upstate.
“Season tickets sold quickly from the moment they went on sale in March, and the demand over the past two weeks is a true testament to the love and passion for the game here in the Upstate,” Prince said. “We’ve been intentional about every layer of this experience — the match drives everything, but we’ve built a full day around it with activities for all ages, a true community celebration, and entertainment that extends the excitement after the final whistle blows.”
The opener carries the theme “Together We Triumph.” Fans attending can expect a pre-match Fan Fest at BridgeWay Station beginning at 4:30 p.m., a flyover by the South Carolina Air National Guard, and a fireworks show following the final whistle. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. June 3, at GE Vernova Park, 825 Bridgeway Blvd, Mauldin.
Tickets for future home matches remain available at greenvilletriumph.com, where fans can also find complete match-day information including parking details and a fan guide.
